In this tale of boldness and uncertainty, the McBays fight and pull together to survive with courage and honor against man and beast. They also deal with mother nature on a trail of both beautiful and somewhat ugly times. With God in their hearts, and their daily prayers, they make their way to their new land in Waco, Texas. Bob Self I have always loved the outdoors and have also thought of what it would be like to travel by covered wagons over open trails. I am now seventy years young and have been married for fifty years. I love God, life, and my family. I hope that more than a million people get the chance to read my book, and I hope that they enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it.
