Aprašymas

At the edge of the galaxy, on the eve of war, a journalist discovers the truth about himself and the society he is living in.

Journalist Man Tek is falling apart. Haunted by a past he cannot change, tormented by a career he cannot stomach, he flees to the edge of the galaxy. His destination: Arirang 5. His goal: Simon Ashton, long-lost friend and firebrand, now enigmatic mouthpiece for the Dalin, a powerful alien super-race. Ashton must have found a way to live, to do more than just exist. When a catastrophic act of terrorism shatters the peace on Arirang 5, the Dalin are cast as architects of the slaughter. For Tek, the ultimate scoop is suddenly attainable: an exclusive interview with the man who speaks for the killers. Faced with a self-censoring IntelliGem laptop, high-tech honey traps, and Teleknife drones, Tek is drawn into a deadly game of cat and mouse that will determine the fate of billions of lives, his own included. The Man with No Face is more than just a science fiction thriller; it is a searingly honest take on the political and spiritual costs of corporate conformity, perpetual war, and pyrrhic ‘progress’. At the edge of the galaxy, we discover that the real answers are not found ‘out there’ but within.
