Teams like the Canton Bulldogs, the Pottsville Maroons, or the Los Angeles Buccaneers are all but phantom franchises in today's League. Throughout the early part of the 20th century, modern-day football was developed. Players and owners that pushed their sport into the professional scope, with some success and also failure, but making these extinct teams the backbone of the juggernaut we know today. These ghosts of the League's past are what we will explore in the Lost League.
