When we look into the mirror, we must remember that our identity is a sacred gift from Allah (s.w.t.). Each one is uniquely fashioned.

Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? In whatever form He willed has He assembled you.

(Surah al-Infitar, 82:7-8)

Through our differences and flaws lies countless blessings. Allah (s.w.t.) honoured us with our own strengths, journeys and our own light. He enlightens us through the Qurʾan and chose us to be a Khalifah amongst the greatest Ummah.

Yet, in the midst of the clutter of this dunya, have we forgotten our worth? Have we overlooked the power of self-acceptance and the liberation through self-love?
