While playing in an abandoned garden 12 year old Polly and her pretend friend Felix meet a pair of oddly dressed adults. In the midst of unknown forces she and Felix are launched into an adventure which takes them to other places on other planets while trying to escape the evil Schnaxers that are trying to destroy her and control the galaxy. Polly soon discovers that she isn't ordinary girl, the musical instrument called the Bell has amazing powers and Felix is much more than a pretend friend.
