Aprašymas

The Tiger Roars

In this, one of his most popular books, Anderson reminiscences, among other things, about a panther with a vendetta, a young tiger that tried to claw its way into his tent even as he slept, and another tiger that dragged its sleeping victim from his hut in the middle of the night.

Jungles Long Ago

Taking a holiday from big-game hunting, Anderson fondly remembers the exciting days and star-lit nights he spent among the simple folk who inhabit the fringes of forests. Featured, among others, are Byra, the poojari who taught him jungle lore, and Ranga, the shikari who is happy with his gun and game.
