In 2008, the Great Recession hits America and begins to unravel it. An old way of life is dissolving and a new one is forming. It is The Jubilee Trust, a conspiratorial financial scheme dating back to the high point of the British Empire in 1897. Then there is the murderer who is an unreliable narrator, but who dispenses clues for the reader even after her death. and the question remains: Who or what is the real murderer, and why?
