What advice have people been giving to you? Is it good? Where is it leading you? There are times that people steer us in the right direction and there are times that they don't. Why not listen to the one who never fails us or leads us to ruin. This reminds me of the teaching of Solomon when he wrote, "A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." (Proverbs 18:24). God is a true friend who always wants what's best for you. He always sets the right example and gives the best advice. Do you listen to Him or are you taking in information that is keeping you from living the life of joy that He desires? I have a suggestion - Listen to Him! One way we do this is through the study of His Word. It's so important to allow God to speak to us and to take in what He says, measure our lives against it, and make changes that lead us to better represent Him. That's what this book is about. The truth is, you write the book. You'll be reading God's Word and journaling what He says to you, filling in the pages with His teachings, personal reflections, and actions that lead you toward living the fully devoted life. It takes time and effort, but the spiritual transformation you'll experience is worth it. It's time to learn, grow, and become more like Him.
