The author helps the reader to understand what the Old Testament festivals have to do with Christian faith. This is an area that is especially poorly understood by many Christians. So the book helps to fill a very significant gap. Beginning with the spring festivals and moving through the year, Dr. Hong concludes his discussion with the final fall festival of Tabernacles. With each festival he explains what the Bible says about it, how it was observed in ancient times, how it is observed today, and what its significance is for Christian faith. In so doing, he shows how the stages of the Christian revelation, from the coming of Christ until the millennial reign of Christ, conform to the annual pattern of these festivals.
