The Heart of the Matter is a devotional book written as the result of an unexpected heart attack in December, 2006. The Heart of the Matter addresses the "wake-up" call that causes us to focus on God's will in all aspects of our lives. This book provides an exemplary example of how Jesus can use trauma and tragedies in our lives to improve our intimate relationships with Him. The scripture that is quoted throughout the book confirms how He turns bad things into good things. It explains how we must focus on Him to recognize the purposes that God has for us and what we must do to complete the task that He has given us.
