Anyone going through anxiety disorder is likely to go into depression and depression can lead to many bad situations like abuse of drugs, isolation, frustration, mental illness, emotional breakdown, and even death.
Making a conscious effort to practice gratitude can go a long way in relieving anxiety. Practicing gratitude is an act that should be consciously developed no matter the situation you are in, you can decide to be grateful for those little things of life and express appreciation even when you do not feel like it.
Gratitude needs to be practiced regularly if you are to increase your level of happiness, mental and emotional well-being over the longer term.
