The Guardian of Avonthyme (el. knyga) (skaityta knyga) | knygos.lt

Aprašymas

For most of Avonthyme's history, Merlin has had a seat beside the throne as the kingdom's Chief Magical Advisor.

Until Zoe, a young witch, throws her hat into the ring to challenge Merlin 16 for the job.In a world of humans and magical creatures, the pair compete in a series of brutal challenges-involving dragons and a dangerous assassin-to determine who is best qualified to protect the kingdom.Although not possessing the same powers as Merlin, Zoe brings her own strengths to the competition-those of an accomplished scientist, concerned with the interests of all creatures of the realm, not just sorcerers and nobles. If she loses, witch-kind will be relegated to the dirt for hundreds more years. Her win would not only bring peace to the kingdom but a long overdue boost in status for witches. However, taking the job of Chief Magical Advisor would mean giving up her chance of a life with the man she loves. (Who would that be? The desirable and kinetic wizard, Raviel 9? Or the ruggedly fine human blacksmith, Harley?)

A feast of magic and danger for lovers of fantasy and romance.
