What changes when contemporary Chinese science fiction is read not simply as a reflection of China, technology, or geopolitics, but as ecological thought in its own right? The Green Other brings the genre's distinctive ecological force into view, showing how it can unsettle established habits of reading and reshape global ecocriticism.
