Aprašymas

The Grapevine Cross' is the story of St Nina of Georgia. As a young girl living in Israel, she was told about the country of Georgia and how the people there worshipped idols. As Nina grew, she prayed earnestly that God would send someone to tell the people the good news about the Lord Jesus. One night the Theotokos appeared to her in a dream and told her she was the one God had chosen to go to Georgia. She gave Nina a grapevine cross with the promise that she would never leave her. Nina travelled to Georgia but had little success in her mission as the people were suspicious of this new God. It was not until a sick child was miraculously healed that the people began to listen. As the people watched her life of love for others, her care for the sick and her devotion to her God, many became believers. When the king and queen became Christians, Georgia officially became a Christian country.
