This story travels through years and we find ourselves meeting Dominic, a renowned author who wants nothing to do with the fame he has amassed for himself, and could not be bothered by any of it, deriving his satisfaction from his art. An unexpected incident reminds Dominic of the frailty of life and opens his eyes to the wolves around him.

In a bid to put down some of his burden, he encountered the ghost writer over the Internet, and a work relationship begins. This encounter leads Dominic to a quaint city in Massachusetts, and he finds himself embroiled in a case that has been left buried over two decades ago. With a lot to unearth, Dominic begins to find out that all is not as it seems.
