First published in 1819, Bradshaw's General Directory of Newry, Armagh, etc. gives historical accounts of Newry, Warrenpoint and Rostrevor, Kilkeel, the City of Armagh, Portadown, Tandragee, Waringstown, Lurgan and Dungannon. There are accompanying lists of merchants, traders, etc., for each, as well as for the towns of Rathfriland, Markethill and Banbridge. The book is not only a valuable reference source for genealogists, but also provides useful background information for local historians.
