What price would you be willing to pay in order to retain political power and the trappings of office? We have witnessed the trend in certain parts of the World for political leaders to resort to all sort of tricks to self-perpetuate. This play satirises that attitude and exposes the pressure that can be brought to bear by external forces on decisions made by politician leaders, President Bolu was keen to set the right example for other African leaders and so when he made the simple decision of not running for re-election after two terms in office, he expected support from his immediate family and friends. The reaction from his immediate family and friends was anything like he expected. The First Lady certainly wasn't ready yet to leave the Presidential Palace and she came up with an unusual idea to frustrate that decision.
