History like you've never encountered it before! The Facts Keep Gettin' in the Way of the Story is a collection of stories from the history of Arizona and the greater southwest. Many of these stories are told in original cowboy poetry, others in the form of first-person narrative. The stories cover the emotional gamut from the humorous to the tragic, honoring the heroism and hubris of early pioneers, settlers, ranchers, outlaws, lawmen, "fallen women", politicians, and even cattle. A couple of the stories are from contemporary events. Each story is proceeded by annotations providing further details pertaining to these events.
