Ergodicity is the little-known secret underpinning the success of companies as diverse as Apple, Unilever, Mitsubishi, and Mondragon. We can use this today to enable businesses, from startups to mature businesses, thrive when their fundamentals are good; to enable investors get the RoI they deserve; and to enable businesses to deliver net positive outcomes across all SDGs, including climate change, biosphere depletion, and society.

We currently don't have this because of a 350 year old simplifying, and usually false, assumption in economics and business. This assumption is called ergodicity. But business is seldom ergodic.
