Through this work, Kevin Thompson details his walk of faith struggling with these questions. As a child, he formed a mistrust of the world leading to a contradictory life of faith filled with self-reliance. In spite of his God given talents and his plans for his own future, God allowed suffering to enter and refine his character and deepen his faith.

For over 10 years he and his wife struggled against infertility, each other, and God--ultimately leading Kevin to a crucible of choice during his dark night of the soul. Would he walk away from life? From God?
