The Cosmos and Me by Lucille Lang Day is an opus of a life spent pursuing wonder, justice, love, and of course, poetry. In these poems that span over fifty years, Day invites the reader to consider the larger questions of existence and meaning alongside the small joys of the everyday, with poems on the universe alongside poems that consider red shoes or a lost necklace, poems set in outer space alongside poems set in the backyard.
