Clint Adams stops in Willow Springs, Nebraska to visit his old friend, Sheriff Ed Crown. A small, quiet town where not much happens, soon things change dramatically. After a hotel fire and a deadly bank robbery occur, the outlaws take refuge in the Willow Springs Schoolhouse, holding the children and the teacher hostage.
