As if this doesn't complicate matters enough, his estranged wife becomes the head of a New Age religious movement and his step daughter a pop music sensation signed by Lisa's father, a sadistic mogul. The drama that ensues pushes each of these characters into themselves then back into the world with life altering-and in some cases ending -results.
