This new anthology of classic short stories has been chosen specifically to inspire Key Stage 3 pupils. A rich, varied 'teacher-tested' range of stories have been included - tales from the Greek Myths, from the Arabian Nights and from the brothers Grimm; a story of King Arthur and a fairy tale from Perrault; Victorian and Edwardian ghost stories, and more. Some familiar old favourites share space with less well-known stories; there's comic stories and scary ones and tales of tremendous derring-do.
