He actively served in Vietnam, Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and the Bosnia-Herzegovina conflict-serving 10 years on active duty and another 13 years as a reservist. His 16' X 50' mural of the USS Arizona in on display at the USS Arizona Visitors Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
