When we say that we are Christians, we should know that we are actually saying that we are the anointed people. It is true that the name - Christians refers to followers of Christ or those who are like Christ. But if we know that the Christ is a Greek word for the Messiah (Hebrew), and that both the Christ and the Messiah mean the Anointed One, then nobody is qualified to be called a Christian without any level of the Anointing of the Holy Spirit in or on him. The anointed is someone who has the Power and Ability of the Holy Spirit on him, because the Holy Spirit has come upon him. God anoints us with His Holy Spirit - the Oil. The Holy Spirit is not an oil, but oil is one of the things used to represent the Holy Spirit, because of His Nature and Work.
