Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1859-1930) was a Scottish physician and writer. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is an anthology containing the first dozen Sherlock Holmes short stories, published in The Strand Magazine in 1891 and 1892. It includes some of the most popular of all the stories in the Sherlock Holmes canon, including "A Scandal in Bohemia," "The Red-Headed League," and "The Adventure of the Speckled Band."

This book is in the Deseret Alphabet, a phonetic alphabet for writing English developed in the mid-19th century at the University of Deseret (now the University of Utah).
