I have had a few jobs in leadership roles throughout my life already. The first one when I was 25 years old. I was simply selected from the within the department as a skilled professional to take over the job after our previous boss had assumed a new job.I then made all the mistakes one can make in a job. How I had wished that I had a plan, or a sort of instruction manual so to speak, to hand then, to explain how to proceed in such a situation.Almost 20 years later I thought to myself, it is now time to prepare a suitable plan with the knowledge I had amassed since.This list of the ten biggest mistakes made by managers, of which I have made at least all ten, came out of this.
