Aprašymas

A collection of short stories by writers with deep Texas ties, examining life, love, sorrow, and history in the Lone Star State.

A celebrated but long out-of-print collection of Texas short stories that were presented, in readings by Texas actors, at the Texas Bound segment of Dallas’s hit literary series “Arts & Letters Live.” Writers range from Katherine Anne Porter and William Goyen to Larry McMurtry and Sandra Cisneros and, as the New York Times writes, constitute a chronicle of “people coming to terms with love, race, myth, time and honor in towns that transcend Texas even as they evoke it.” Some of the readings—by Tommy Lee Jones, Kathy Bates, Marcia Gay Harden, and others—are also part of this Texas-size reissue in an accompanying audiobook.
