Tarzan sped across the forest with the speed of the big apes, towards his house and family. But it was too late. The marauders had been there before him. He buried the body quietly, swearing horrible revenge on those who had committed this heinous crime. Then he set off grimly to find them, over warring armies, through a vast desert no one had ever travelled, and to a mysterious valley where only madmen dwelt.
