This book is a level 2 Hindi reader. Level 2 books helps in developing Hindi vocabulary for children who have become familiar with Hindi script and have learnt a few basic words. The book does it by means of interesting short stories. This book contains three stories. Each story consists of paragraphs with a simple but interesting story line. On each page of the book, the topmost lines provides the paragraph in Hindi. Immediately below it is the transliteration of the paragraph in English. If the transliterated paragraph is read in conversational English, the pronunciation would be similar to the one in Hindi. The paragraph at the bottom of the page provides the English translation. The first story, Tara on a Trip, introduces the names of some common modes of travel. The second story, Tara in a Band, introduces the name of several musical instruments. The third story, Tara in a Mall, introduces the names of several items one can buy in a mall.
