Ši knyga yra pasakų rinkinys, kurį Peregrinės vaikai skaitė pirmosiomis knygomis, bet vėlesnėse knygose nebe. Šios pasakos tikrai ne vaikams! Knygą sudaro 10 pasakų. Pirmoji pasaka vadinasi „The Splendid Cannibals“. Antroji pasaka „The Fork-Tongued Princess“. Trečioji pasaka „The First Ymbryne“. Ketvirtoji pasaka „The Woman Who Befrendied Ghosts“. Šeštoji pasaka „The Pigeons of Saint Paul‘s“. Apie pasiutusius balandžius. Po šitos istorijos kitaip į juos nebežiūrėsiu. xD Septintoji pasaka „The Girl Who Could Tame Nightmares“. Aštuntoji pasaka „The Locust“. Devintoji pasaka „The Boy Who Could Hold Back The Sea“. Dešimtoji pasaka „The Tale of Cuthbert“. Tai pasaka apie Mrs. Wren kilpos gyvūnus. Apie jos plačiau pasakojama antrojoje Peregrinės vaikų knygoje. Pasakos tikrai labai įdomios ir neįprastos. Knygoje labai gražios iliustracijos ir apipavidalinimas. Man tikrai labai patiko.
