Ålesund is a town and municipality located right in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It's part of the traditional district of Sunnmøre and is the center of the Ålesund Region. This lovely Norwegian town is also a sea port widely known for its 'Art Nouveau' architecture. But the most fun part of this place (as you may have already guessed) is that the Vikings were here!
