This book of poetry is about Brooklyn New York and the people who live there. Most of it is specifically centered on the Coney Island section, but it covers the borough where I grew up and did business in. If I did not live through a lot of life experiences as a young man I would not have been able to write this book of poetry. I believe poetry should be easy to read and understand. You do not need a college degree in literature to enjoy my poetry. The poems are drawn on reality, and tell a human interest story. Surf Avenue is a main road through Coney Island. With the beach a block or so away, and housing projects scattered around the area, There are so many human interest stories to tell, I hope you enjoy the book.
