During the final year of World War II, Deborah Little's father was stationed in Hollandia, New Guinea and Manila, Philippines Island. A series of essays, reflections, and letters her parents wrote to each other from November 1944 to December 1945, these writings are personal, yet have universal appeal as we mourn the passing of the "Greatest Generation."
