But there is a dark, uncanny force behind the game, feeding on all the worst memories and secrets of the players and turning it into a world of nightmares...and they face being trapped forever in the interstellar alternate dimension, until one of them makes a terrible bargain...

Having fled their last game--Daphne knows that her time in this world is limited. Before she can bring danger to Galway and risk the lives of her wife and unborn child, she must return to the galactic dimension of the Scorpio Wonder to take her turn. It's only slightly less terrifying than confronting the bittersweet memories and once-beloved faces of their fractured, dramatic, entangled group...and the player they'd left behind at the last round.
