It has been reported that over two hundred mothers in the United States each year kill their own children. In fact, it is one of the leading causes of death for children under the age of four. When a child dies at the hands of his or her own mother, it's completely unexplainable. It's hard for anyone to understand. By reading the cases of the mothers in this book, maybe someone, somewhere will recognize themselves or someone they know. Then they might be able to seek help and save this kind of senseless tragedy from ever happening again.
