Stewie Scraps and the Easy Rider is one in a set of 6 stories for reluctant readers. The gripping, stand-alone storylines woven around the likeable, engaging main character, Stewie Scraps, appeal especially to boys. Stewie doesn't do sport. He hasn't got any time for sums or things like that. The only school subject he likes is Design and Technology. When Clint, Stewie's big brother, spots a beautiful, glistening, red and chrome motorbike with long steering rods and long cow-horn handlebars, even Stewie is impressed. Later that night, Stewie secretly flicks through Clint's bike magazines until he finds a picture of that bike. Then he does something really daring - he rips the page out of Clint's magazine.
