This book is a direct outcome of my humble experience as a teacher in Jawaharlal Nehru College, Pasighat, Donyi Polo Government College, Kamki and Dera Natung Government College, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. In this book, I have put every effort and tried my level best to combine correctness with easy presentation so that the average students can understand statistics very easily and can solve the exercise presented at the end of each chapter. With my long experience of teaching, I understand the problems of students in the subject and I earnestly hope that the average students would find this book very helpful since the book is based on a little arithmetic and elementary algebra with lucid style and simple expression.
