It also examines Stanley's links with the cottonindustry in the West of Scotland, in Lancashire and withthe Dundee jute industry. Cotton was a global industry andStanley Mills exported their products as far afi eld as India, North and South America, South Africa and Australia. Thissecond edition has been considerably rewritten and expandedto take account of new research and new discoveries since itwas first published in 2003.
