This lecture series compiled in this first volume of Sri Sri Harinama-Kalpataru was delivered in 2001 during the sacred month of Kartik, and deals with many important transcendental subject matters such as how to chant the holy names of God, and the importance and realizations of staying in a sacred place. A "kalpataru" is a wish-fulfilling tree, and "harinama" means the names of Krishna. In other words; the names of Krishna are like a transcendental wish-fulfilling tree. Sripad Aindra Prabhu was always eager to chant and inspire others to do so as well. With this book - which is only the first volume of many others to come - we hope to continue spreading Sripad Aindra Prabhu`s love of Godhead and enthusiasm for harinama all over the world.
