A field standard weight cart (after this, simply called "weight cart") is intended for use in conjunction with Class F weights for testing commercial weighing devices for compliance with the requirements of NIST Handbook 44. The combination of Class F weights and weight cart may be used to test class III and III L scales with a division size ('d') equal to or greater than 5 lb, class IIII scales, and scales not marked with a class designation with a 'd' equal to or greater than 5 lb.
