Dear God was inspired by prayers prayed especially during struggles and self reflection. It is a product of being able to apply scriptures to my life and make connections to biblical characters. Since I have a personal relationship with God, I can be real with Him and not worry about crossing every "t" and dotting every "i". God made me and loves and accepts me flaws and all.

Jacqui Davis is a Special Educator who resides in Maryland. She has been writing poetry since college and shares them in settings such as churches, community events and at Open Mics under the stage name of Poetess Quipette. She has written poems, commissioned for special occasions such as birthdays, weddings and memorial tributes.
