Using autoethnography, this book answers the Black feminist call to talk back to systems of oppression and highlight the agency and resistance of Black women.

Editors Ebonie Cunningham Stringer and Geniece Crawford Mondé bring together a strong collection of scholars to illustrate how Black feminist perspectives inform the scholarship and praxis of Black women scholars and practitioners. The contributors challenge existing narratives about Black women in academic and activist spaces. They unpack Black feminist scholarship in an accessible way and inspire resistance to oppressive systems.
