Australian Pentecostalism has emerged as a strong and lively force within the nation in recent years, and is second only to Roman Catholicism in church attendance, but it was not always so. Read how a tiny Christian movement suddenly "took off" in the 1970s and explore the reasons why this happened, based on the actual words of 200 of the main players. Read about the revolutionary changes that took place in the later 1970s. Read about the men and women that led these changes. Consider the underlying factors in this growth. This story is inspirational and may challenge your assumptions about religion in countries like Australia.
