When Joshua and girlfriend Denise visit Dr Snoot's, he reveals a mysterious device that's just arrived at his front door. Not knowing who sent it or what it does, they plug it in and are instantly transported into the future. To a failed, apocalyptic world stripped bare of people but over-run by genetically modified vegetation and vicious animals that hunt in packs. With no weapons, it's only by using their ingenuity that they're able to survive.

Also having survived are millions of Droids who are vastly quicker and stronger than humans. Even when armed, humans are no match for them and so Joshua and friends will need every ounce of cunning they have to escape the hordes of heavily armed Combat Droids hunting them, with orders to kill on sight.

Author_Bio: A little about myself. Born in London, England, I was the eldest of two sons. We migrated to New Zealand when I was ten. After graduating in Engineering at Auckland University, I worked at Ford Motor Company in Wellington. From there I became self- employed, drawing House Plans for people. Married with three wonderful children, we currently live in a three storey, hexagon shaped house we built for ourselves.
