Rajkumar is a senior poet with his first book of poems published from Calcutta in 1975. In 1980, he edited an anthology of poems on Tagore with contributions of eminent poets of Bengal and Bangladesh. In 2009, two of his books were published from Calcutta. One was a translation of Maurice Carême's book, ''Songs of Beginning' from French to Bengali. He also published an ebook titled "Soliloquy" from www.poemhunter.com.

This is a book of poems by Rajkumar mainly on nature, love, spirituality and philosophy chosen and published during last five years. He is a regular contributor to www.poemhunter.com, www.mypoetryforum.com and www.allpoetry.com. His poems are regularly published in Prism international, magazines, IPF anthologies and Ink Angels, printed anthologies of the All poetry.com.
