Aprašymas

From the moment Sherrie Cartwright stepped in front of a karaoke machine she knew that singing was what she was born to do! With a ragtag band backing her up Sherrie hits local pubs, parties and clubs and plays whatever gigs she can get.

But fame and fortune elude her and her faithful Wagon Wheels until she sees a news report about some other girlie hitting the big time - and all for doing nothing!

Sherrie and her smitten drummer cook up a scheme to plaster Sherrie's face on every tv and newspaper in the country... what could possibly go wrong! No one gets hurt, but fame, fortune and a certain type of exposure find Sherrie in ways she never saw coming!

Join the singer, her band, her family and a whole cast of characters from rural Tambourine on her wild and crazy ride to infamy in this debut novel from prize winning playwright, actor, director and author Malcolm Frawley.
