Contributors explore new African development frameworks in the context of Covid-19, escalating global wars, and global warming; the ongoing impact of collective memory and trauma on development progress, interactions between Indigenous knowledge and Western innovations; and the potential of arts, handicrafts, and even postmodern Afropop as drivers of transformative development.

Going beyond traditional emphases on economic and industrial progress, the authors gathered here ultimately develop new analytical frameworks that align with African realities and priorities in order to promote the decolonisation of the African minds, which remains a work in progress.
