Silent Reader is a middle-grade mystery about Owen, an immersive reader who experiences life the way he reads books. When his bike disappears and his best friend may be moving away, Owen begins to notice patterns others miss, in school hallways, neighbourhood streets, and himself. Bright but unseen, funny in sideways ways, and always one step from trouble, Owen must navigate bullying, family tension, and the quiet loneliness of middle school.
